So, as a well trusted brand with so many 1000’s customers, a high converting, accessible store was a must have.

The brief

YuMove is widely stocked in vets across the UK and recently underwent a re-brand that was very focussed on print and packaging to leverage the brand presence in physical locations, however the direct to consumer Shopify store had not been brought in-line with the brand identity update. This is where we we came in as a solution and service provider. YuMove did not have a internal resource to facilitate the design across the Shopify store, which had very specific requirements particularly when it came to visualising the pack variant designs, use of sub brand colour and page template use.

We were asked to deliver over 50 unique responsive page designs in a 8 week period, expanding from a guideline that was created for print vs digital execution. As well as all of that, it was required that we had a seamless handover with a team of internal developers who could take the new, fresh UI design work and implement the UX without issue, all packaged up in a digital style guide.

One of the challenges YuMove faced was how to better funnel and convert customers so that they were choosing the correct supplement size for their pet. Working closely with the project manager and digital product lead, we set about designing a user experience flow that provided a stream-lined solution when customers were faced with making multiple decisions.

Using visual aids for pet size and adding concise, relevant information about pet needs a simple subscription module was delivered to aid increase in conversion & give valuable information.

Our design work also incorporated basket UX/UI improvements, enabling a structured display of purchase information to reduce cart abandonment. This is typically seen when customers are faced with un-expected experiences, such as additional costs. Our design strategy was to have all information presented clearly in relevant spaces across the user journey.
