Joonbyrd body lotion, Daydreamer body serum and Moon Swim body wash lined up on a pink shelf

Joonbyrd makes body care that feels like a mood, not a chore.

From the Daydreamer firming body serum to Moon Swim body wash and Mood Jellies, every product is designed to turn a daily routine into a small ritual. Joonbyrd sells on Shopify across the UK and US and runs subscriptions through Skio. We started with discovery using our B.E.S.T framework to set a clear baseline. Since then, we've worked alongside the Joonbyrd team as their Shopify partner, designing and developing the features that move the numbers, which is exactly how we like to work.

Joonbyrd is a UK body-care brand selling on Shopify in the UK and US, with Skio subscriptions. Eleven ran a Subscription Intelligence™, UX/CRO and technical audit, then designs and develops new features as Joonbyrd's ongoing Shopify partner. A year on, conversion is up 45%, orders have doubled and subscription revenue has grown 170%.

Key results

  • +45% conversion year on year, ahead of the audit's projection
  • 2x orders year on year, with sales up 50%
  • +170% subscription revenue year on year
  • Google search conversion more than doubled

Our role: Subscription Intelligence™, UX/CRO and technical audit, then ongoing design, development and subscription optimisation work.

The brief

Joonbyrd had a beautiful brand and a growing audience on both sides of the Atlantic. What it needed was a store that turned that attention into orders and subscribers. The team asked us to:

  1. Find out what was holding conversion back, using real data rather than opinion.
  2. Make Subscribe & Save clearer and more appealing using Skio.
  3. Support the US market alongside the UK, without splitting the experience.
  4. Keep the design standard as high as the products themselves.

The discovery

We began with our Subscription Intelligence™, UX/CRO and technical audit, following the whole journey from homepage to cart using real customer data.

What the data showed

Joonbyrd's products looked beautiful, but the store wasn't telling their story fast enough. Two in three visitors left after a single page.

  • The homepage lost people early. Nearly half of visitors left almost straight away.
  • Product pages buried the reasons to buy. Most visitors never reached the reviews or key details.
  • Mobile needed its own approach. Almost half of traffic came from mobile, on layouts that weren't built for it.

The fixes followed the evidence: stronger trust signals, a clearer homepage story, easier navigation and product pages that lead with benefits.

The work

With the audit as our roadmap, we've designed and developed improvements across the store, one sprint at a time:

  • Homepage: the founder story, expert testimonials and press up front to build trust early.
  • Navigation: a new Shop by Concern menu.
  • Product pages: reviews, awards and clear delivery information.
  • Subscriptions: a clearer Subscribe & Save offer using Skio.
  • Cart: free shipping and free gift progress, plus a free sample picker.
  • US market: a dedicated US experience on the same store.

Every change starts in the data, and anything that touches the offer or the copy is tested first.

The results

A year on, we went back to the numbers. Conversion has already passed what the audit predicted.

  • Conversion up 45% year on year.
  • Orders doubled, with sales up 50%.
  • Subscription revenue up 170%.
  • Conversion from Google search more than doubled.

There's still more to go for, with bigger baskets and longer-lasting subscriptions next on the list. The work doesn't stop, and neither do we.

‍

‍
